About A-M
All the most fascinating bits about A-M Morse
Born an Army brat in Germany, A-M has lived a life full of adventure.
The brief outline of her life goes something like this: graduated from college with a degree in environmental biology, worked in asbestos abatement; deckhand on a transfer boat during the Exxon Valdez spill; got married; had a family; and is now a grandma.
She grew up and lived most of her life in the wilds of Colorado and raised her family there, along with a herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats and a small flock of chickens and a pack of Lundehunds.
The family has grown up, and she and her husband have left Colorado and their 35 acres behind, traveling on the hippie trail between Colorado and the Pacific Northwest in a 38-foot RV (with slide and washer!!), with long stayovers in their kids’ backyard with their two dogs, Phoebe “the pound puppy that suspiciously looks like a Treeing Walker Coonhound” and Odin, the last of their Lundehunds.
She loves being a mom and grandma and shares her love of genetic diversity and heirloom plants with her whole family.
